The term “organic” can only be used on products that are grown and produced without pesticides, and other harmful chemicals. Products that host the USDA Organic Seal are produced under the high standards set forth by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. There is no legal definition of what the term “natural” means.

Natural foods can include organic foods, but not all natural foods are organic. Look for products with the USDA Organic seal and you'll be making the right choice for your health and the environment.

Our Mongo Kiss lip balms contain 30% cocoa butter. Cocoa butter is comprised of 4 different kinds of fats, and each type has a different melting point. When it's melted and mixed, the fats intermingle. When the balm is continually melted and cooled (or too cold), the fats separate which causes what we call a "bloom". It appears as a gritty or bumpy appearance, but rest assured your balm is still effective and safe to use.

Look for the lot code (born date) on the bottom of the lip balm tube. We lot code according to Julien date. Example: 14-024 is the year 2014 and the 24th day of that year. January 24th.
